![]() ![]() I believe that Thunderbolt is the way to go for a few reasons. This is probably the one spot open for debate. The fact that the cooldown is only 4 seconds is actually insane. This means this move can snipe Dreadnaw/Rotom/Zapdos amazingly well, it also means it can burst down Pokemon unexpectedly in team fights. The more amazing part of the move is that it's damage is increased the lower the opposing Pokemon's HP is. This move can't miss and does AOE damage which also paralyzes for a short time. I would recommend taking this over Thunder literally 100% of the time unless you're just trolling. Thunder Shock - A great farming tool that also paralyzes (slows) enemy pokemonĮlectroweb - An excellent form of CC in lane. You can battle an opponent and when they turn to back catch them with net to really lay on the hurt.Īs the game progresses Pikachu posses a great finishing move in Electro Ball and an AOE stun with Thunderbolt.īecause of his long range Pikachu can often sit on the outskirts of fights blasting away with * Electro Ball and auto attacks before hard committing with his Unite move that does very solid damage. Pikachu also has a surprising amount of burst damage early on. As such you can often arrive to lane before opposing lanes and have a better shot at securing the middle wild pokemons. Pikachu is a reliable laner with some of the longest auto attack range in the game. So with all this in mind lets get to why you can or should play Pikachu. Requires semi-competent Defender or Support Jack of all trades master of none style of attacker Fairly squishy (slightly mitigated by items) ![]() With the recent mobile release coming up and a free Pikachu for everyone (assuming you are all pre-registering like you should) I figured I'd write out my guide to playing Pikachu as I have not really seen any posted and see even less in my games in Masters.
